Brighthouse Communications televised the 2005 Miss Hawaiian Tropc State Finals for Central and North Florida on September 3rd, 2005. The pageant took place at Antigua Nightclub on Church Street in downtown Orlando. An online casino sponsored the competition, which reached millions of homes, sports bars and other entertainment establishments. Thousands of people attended the pageant in Orlando.
For the third year in a row, Brighthouse produced a 1 hour show that aired throughout Central Florida. Jenny Woo, a representative of the online casino was on-hand to interview all the Hawaiian Tropic contestants on camera, flanked in a tight-fitting online casino shirt. 'I am pleased to be a part of this event and look forward to interviewing all of these sexy girls,' Ms. Woo said. 'I could not ask for a better present with my birthday just around the corner, September 9th.'
'Thanks to the sponsoring online casino, we will be giving away 2 trips to the North Shore of Hawaii to compete in the Hawaiian Tropic US Finals as well as $3,000.00 dollars in cash to the top 10 contestants,' commented Anna Casado of Hawaiian Tropic Events prior to the pageant.
